I could be mistaken, but it looks like a dubia roach to me, which is a common feeder insect. If it's a used tank, I would guess that it was probably being fed to the beardie and escaped or burrowed.
The reptile expo I went to today was AWESOME. I never knew baby hognose snakes were so tiny! I was hoping to see a lavender morph but I don't think any vendors had any. I came back with a pin, magazines, and a LOT of video and pictures! Here are a few of them:
Maybe you could either A. Have a checklist of the things you need, and buy only those/bring about enough money to cover for those, or B, if you don't need anything, maybe you can try not bringing enough money for a nice, expensive new reptile?
It may be harder than I think though- I'll be going...
I just saw this awesome thread recently!
I don't have any reptiles (although I would love a leopard gecko and a hognose snake and a ball python (and I can go on) soon), but I do have a jumping spider named Henry. I'll post some pictures of him later.
