🤣 The birbs are tempting at the pet stores but I recommend a bird from a breeder, rescue, or for adoption.

Remember, parakeets are really intelligent and need just as much attention and care as larger parrots. They still live 15+ years too.

I have never raised quail. But I love them!

:eek: I have 1 dog, 3 cats, 15 chickens, 2 ducks, 1 leopard gecko, and 1 cockatiel. I will be adopting more hens soon and maybe some pigeons.

Yes, they are lots of work. My birb is only 5, haha. Parakeets would be the best option for a shorter lifespan.
