Thank you! My pet snake inspired me to draw some reptiles and reptile-inspired creatures. Here's a more realistic, though still very simple, snake. Link (I would post a picture of the drawing rather than a link, but the file size is too large.)
Thank you so much! I will have to experiment with some of these different brushes. So far I have mainly been using the monoline brush. As an experiment, I put one of my very simple designs onto a thank you card on Zazzle to see how it would look. Here is the Link if you would like to see it.
Here is a drawing I made yesterday of an alpaca and a Jersey cow. I was trying to be efficient, so I used the same pencil for most of it and did not worry too much about the small details. It turned out better than I thought, considering the fact that I have never drawn an alpaca or a cow before.
What type of stylus and device do you use for computer drawings? I learned quite quickly that trying to draw with fingers does not produce a good outcome.
Most quail are not tame...Mine, at least, are terrified of humans and everything else.
They are beautiful birds.
I have a coral glow ball python, a leopard gecko, an African fat-tailed gecko, a betta fish, 2 rabbits, and of course, poultry: 7 quail and 5 chickens.
Ball pythons are great...
You are right that the fur is rather bristly looking, and that the nose needs to be larger and the muzzle shorter, etc.
What pencil(s) do you recommend I use for getting a softer fur texture?
I am working to improve in the field of graphite drawings, but I haven't done much yet. This drawing, my rendering of a pup in the Glowing Eyes wolf role play, is the only recent one I think anything of. I would appreciate constructive feedback.
