    Were they commenting specifically about the breast area? A lot of my hatchery Buff Orpingtons had some stippling on their wing and tail feathers.

    Thanks, just curious. I don't breed for color, she's just one of my meat mutts. I get a lot of blue, but never one that had different shades of blue on individual feathers like that.

    Is mottling always white and another color? I have this hen that appears to be mottled light and dark blue. Or is that not considered mottled?
