Hi, can anyone with colour genetic experience explain to me why black laced red wyandottes have much thicker lacing (less ground colour) than the blue laced reds?
Is there a way I can reduce the thickness or will it reduce the lacing on the BLRs too much?

Yes he is very dark but I actually prefer that colour blue even if it isn't preferred in the show pen 😂... I will post a photo of him once he's finished moulting, he looks terrible at the moment
