Our girls aren’t in this, it’s our mistake coop and now serves as a shelter/food and watering hole for them when they come over to free range the back yard. But look how miserable it looks in the winter!
I actually can stand the snow, but I hate the below zero temps :barnie This was the walk to the coop this morning. The drifts may not look high but they were higher than my boots! Needless to say, a lot of shoveling was required to get in.
They sound like mine! Such divas. I don’t stop hearing squawking until they have a path through the snow. I thought it seemed a little late for treats :)
This makes me feel a smidge less guilty. The snow finally stopped today and I spent the afternoon shoveling out the run. Once they had a path they finally stopped squawking at me!
