Oh don't feel bad! Like I said, use the terms you're comfortable with for sure!
Yes, I have, she's sort of everywhere 😂 We definitely have fun wildlife!
Oh, game breeds definitely seem fun! I like vorwerks too! I bought eggs once but I had a really bad hatch and none of them hatched 🫠
Rare...
It's pretty important to use the words that your comfortable with.
I'm happy to use autistic for myself cause I don't see it as a negative or anything.
Hope you enjoy being on the thread! :love
I have a bit of an interest in rarer breeds/varieties too, what are some of your favourites?
Definitely. I spent a lot of time looking into everything myself. But you definitely need to be aware and look at it from a distance. I mean sometimes people DO get misdiagnosed. I think there was times I convinced myself I didn't have ASD or ADHD for whatever reason.
I suppose a bit of a follow up on this question I asked, in case anyone else gets curious about that like I was. I honestly hated the entire assessment process, the anxiety was really hard and frustrating. But considering I now know I'm definitely autistic I know part of it was the fact...
As someone who never knew what half these "labels" ever meant when I did it was extremely helpful to finally be able to understand why I do what I do, think like I and think and feel how I feel. That could've happened sooner if people hadn't tried to "not label" me.
Also I've found I get along...
Took me forever to decide to just do it 😅 It's kinda the first time I got myself fidgets, but I think these will be really helpful. I can take them to class and no one will likely notice and it's completely silent :)
I saw those zipper bracelets recently and thought they look really interesting! That's one of my main issues with fidgets, I lose them so easily...
I got myself a mini fidget spinner last month and I love it!
Yeah, our's are the folding ones. I wonder if I could make something like that though...
I don't know why I haven't looked at metal fidget toys before! Especially considering I use a metal Slinky as a fidget toy! The texture of rubber/silicon grosses me out and I avoid all fidget/sensory toys made of them. I may have to get myself some of these metal ones...
