    Up to 5 peacock eggs in the incubator now. My peahen laid one more and my friend gave me 4. The first 2 should hatch in about a week

    3 serama chicks so far, and all of them are white. There is a lot more eggs pipping too. I also candled the pheasant eggs and they are indeed developing, so yay baby pheasants soon

    Had a 3rd serama hen go broody, looks like she has 5 eggs. The pheasant hen has already layed 2 eggs so far, but still no eggs from the peahen

    Well that sucks. I was gonna order splash bantam ameraucanas from Meyer hatchery and they are sold out. Guess I'll just stick to hatching my lavenders then

    Eggs have officially gone into the incubator. Mostly ameraucanas as usual but some mixes too for fun. Gonna wait a little bit for hatching seramas

    Also got the button quail cage set up in the barn so they can be moved back out soon, it's still pretty cold so I'm waiting. Since there are 2 different sides I will probably need to seperate the extra males

    Not sure what's going on but it's not good. Both of Blues sisters died within like 2 weeks of each other, and they were both really good pullets. Blue is now my only blue Ameraucana left which sucks. I hate for things to be this negative but there has been a lot of death over the winter...
