    There is no point in getting a Great Pyr pup or any other dog, unless you have some clue about training it, or you're just going to have more problems than you know how to deal with. A GP is just as likely to eat your poultry as any other dog, or pup.

    Not every poodle. Not every retriever. Not every ... any dog. This is not the scope of this thread, but dogs can be taught to co-exist peacefully with chickens. My Golden and Sheltie do. They share mealworms with the birds at snack time. Maybe I'll post a pic tomorrow.
