    The Dwarf gene in Cornish X is sexlinked, & only makes females smaller if I remember correctly. I don't know tons about this subject currently.

    Actually Malay were used in the making the Cornish Game Chicken, in which where used to make the Cornish X. A specific Dwarf gene came from the Malay. This one is different since it has created an infertile Dwarf that don't produce eggs. Her full blooded brother is a Giant.

    Yep I've heard of that chicken. I'll keep track of her years. She'll be 2 this year.

    She's strictly a pet, because of this. She'll live a really long time cuz of no egg laying though.

    I'm moving away from Bantams, but keeping a few. I've got 4 Brassy Back OEGBs, & 2 Silver Duckwing OEGBs, 4 Bantam Silkies, an OEGB/Phoenix cross, & a Japanese Bantam mix.
