@fuzzi Martha sure does make some beautiful chicks! I wish one of my gals would go broody and see it through, I’d love to see a hen and her chicks! My new crew is just too cute! I lost one weak little chick. So sad, but really thankful for a good hatch rate this time around!
had a dozen eggs and 11 hatched! Four bantam cochins on 4/6 and 7 various bantams on 4/9. The staggered hatch was a success and I’m glad I was able to save the 4 bantams my broody abandoned! So excited for these fluffballs!
I love this and that you used pallets! I always see my local feed store just giving these away, I need to get some and make something like this for my flock!

First bantam Cochin hatched, pipped day 19, hatched the 20th day! I have two others pipped, just hoping for a successful hatch! I’m doing a staggered hatch, I’ve got 7 others due to hatch on the 9th or 10th. I hope all those chicks are doing well even with an earlier lockdown. There’s movement...
Picked up a dozen rare bantam breed eggs locally and put 5 under my broody showgirl, and 7 in the incubator. First time using the Kebonnix, so far I love it! This is the also the first time I’m using a broody to hatch, she seems to be doing great, so good in fact I have to remind her to get off...
