It's a bad idea to hatch a double yolk. Most of the time both chicks die, the odd time one will survive, and very very rarely both will survive. Even the ones that do survive often have issues.

I have a chicken that lays a very large double yolk egg a couple times a month. It won't fit into the egg cartons or in our egg holder on the counter.
