When do I start feeding chicks regular food?
The inner craving for the calcium comes from within the bird. Younger pullets won't have that craving, neither will cockerels. Even hens that sometimes should be eating the shells don't seem to do so.- Fred's Hens

What's the rush? Scratch is just about 1/2 the nutritional value of feed, at just about the same price.- Fred's Hens
