Had 8 OEGB hatch yesterday, didn't see any pips when I left for work, no more out at 3 pm when I called home, but at 5 pm when I got home, 1 more newly hatched chick and another with a hole that I can see beak through. Maybe a few more will surprise me!

I pour hot water on sponges inside the incubator with good success. I've also misted the walls of the bator (not the eggs) to raise humidity quickly. Good luck with your hatch!

5 babies in a bucket. #6 hadn't made any progress since yesterday so I picked away a bit of the shell and opened the membrane just enough for it to breathe. I sure hope it makes it out by the morning. I added more hot water to my sponges to keep the humidity up so hopefully that will do the trick.

I incubated in my brinsea, hatched in a LG still air. 7 out of 7 duck eggs, about half for my chicken eggs. However more like 4 sponges and plenty of hot water to keep humidity up. Doing it all over again for April!

Set 26 more OEGB eggs for a friend this morning and when I get home gonna fill the bator out with more mallard eggs from the nest I found over the weekend. So that puts hatching at the 10th and 18th.
