Nope, I took them to the auction at Stokes on Saturday. However I have six 3 week old chicks that I am hoping are mostly pullets. If I have any cockerels to rehome should I message you?
It appears five of five hatched April 8th (during the Eclipse!) and April 11th are cockerels.
I'm going to send these little boys to auction in a couple weeks, but if someone local is interested, they're free to a good home.

The only place that would take my cockerels was near Charlotte, all the rest were full or not taking chickens. I found out about the auction by talking to sellers at our local farmers' market.
Hi! I can't take them but if you get desperate there's a poultry auction in Stokes, just north of Greenville, every other Saturday. I was able to get rid of my extra cockerels that way.
They need a dry place to roost, with a windbreak.
They need a source of water that isn't frozen.
Aside from that I can't think of anything. I'm about 90 minutes' drive east of you, and in a zone that's a little more temperate.

My straight run of ten Speckled Sussex bantam chicks wound up as seven cockerels and three pullets. I need to rehome most of the boys.
They were hatched on 2/27/23 from an NPIP AI free certified hatchery. All are healthy, and have been handled by me.
