This one looks like a roo to me. So it would be bigger.
For anyone thinking about buying any, there is no such BREED as a FAVACAUNA. It is a crossbreed from a Faverolles and an Ameraucana. Just because a hatchery is selling them as a breed it does not make it true. Check the APA before buying a...
CL, that's simply not true. I own some duplexes which we rent. ►WE◄, the owners, pay property taxes, and they aren't subsidised. Most of ours are on septic so aren't expelling water into an area that can't handle it.

My ducks were given a duck house, but they didn't like it. In the winter, they have access to the coop, but prefer to sit in the yard and get covered in snow. It's funny to watch them get up and shake the snow off the next morning.
GETTING RID OF CROWS
This isn't easy, we had them, eating...
This isn't true. It's "DIRTY" runs that cause it, and mud will exacerbate it. We have a lot of mud in our pasture in the winter, and NEVER had a case of bumblefoot, but then it's kept clean by the rain. All our birds are pastured, even in winter.
People should NOT keep chickens in close...
That's not a really good idea much of the time. Often a vehicle behind you may not be far enough back to stop in time to not hit YOU! Or, you could hit the brakes and skid into something.. And swerving is worse - you could end up hitting a child. I know none of us want to hit anything, but...
Del's gets their birds from Hatcheries, so they are most likely EE's and not pure Ameraucanas (Hatcheries doesn't breed purebred Ams'). Why do you want to find new homes for them?
Yeah, liquid diets never worked for me. I finally got an app for my smart phone, and it has helped me lose 22 pounds so far. It keeps me on track pretty well. I know some people swear by the liquid, so if you find one that works, let everyone know! I just get too hungry - I need a lot of...
@Chickielady - sorry you aren't feeling well. Stay warm and drink lots of good stuff!
Got two new babies today - a Spangled Russian Orloff, and a BC Marans.
Welcome back from Hawaii Candy
I have some AmerAUcanas (Lavender) and an Olive Egger, but they are just chicks. Mine are all pretty sturdy birds. And, like you , I love the coloured eggs! (If you are interested in the chicks, pm me)
I'm not sure, but I don't think store security is allowed to do that. You have to be arrested by "real" police; they are the only ones who can search you. And they certainly can't take anything away from you, 'cus they got no right to search you in the first place. And if you did pay for your...
Huge - well it's a cabinet and can hold at least 160 eggs. If we put in a second row of rollers - - ?!?!?
It was designed for ostrich eggs I think; the rollers were spaced quite far apart. We just hatch duck, turkey, peafowl and chicken eggs right now.
I know what you mean, mine's not...
