INCUBATING w/FRIENDS! w/Sally Sunshine Shipped Eggs No problem!

After the crazy evening I finally got the eggs candled and locked down. I was going to take pictures but I forgot with everything that was going on. Babies are still alive at this point. Most of the air cells look good but there are a few that still seem a little small. I ran the incubator completely dry the last couple of days to help with that. Hoping to post some pics of chicks on my next update

I'm not too horribly worried about the incubator currently. I am more worried about my 1 day old chick. I told hubs to go grab the month olds... he was huddled up with them earlier, I figure if they were protecting him earlier, they'd keep him warm now. Sounds like the generator is starting to run out of gas, and I'm stuck here for another hour :(
Who, hubby or chick?

Far as I know, we never got a drop or so much as a breeze. Talked to #1 son in WI Tue afternoon though, and it was coming down in buckets there.

I think its headed our way this evening, but the strongest parts of it should stay south of us. Really windy, and likely to get an inch or two of hard rain.

Today,is day 18,had a shirt over back half of incubator to keep temp up,stayed up till 1.00 this morning stayed 100 to 101,then went to bed woke up at seven and the bator was below 95

Does this happen every night? How do you have your incubator plugged in? Is the power to the bator fluctuating at all? Is the thermostat in your house set to a lower temperature at night?
