Joy use to be blue fawn but since she is now 12 yrs old she has been turning mostly white with every molt in the last few yrs. Only color now is on her tail. IMG_1848.jpeg IMG_2161.jpeg
 
So far, I've had 29 Muscovy ducklings, and there are eggs in the nesting box again. It's a bit late in the season, but if at least one of the females starts sitting soon, I'll let them hatch as I saw some interesting pairings and would love to see the babies. Here's a small sample of the ones I have right now, shortly after hatch:

Lots of Atipico and Dusky, as well as solids and pieds, and a couple of barred. Blacks, chocolates, blues, and at least one lilac. I'm unsure what colour the two barred are, as their tail feathers were very light. Only way I can tell them apart from a solid white is the colour of their bills/feet.
