I m all for it .
I m actually developing both varieties .White marans ( Dominant and recessive ) and cuckoos ( silver /golden on Black and Blue )

I see this days a lot dark marans egg but thin and long .

Hi all. Can someone confirm that this is a golden cuckoo marans? I have 2 like this: barred with red coming in on tips of feathers and around neck. (The other isn't as predominate in the feather, but definitely brown in the neck. Both have feathered legs.
Any other words of advice?
she is a Golden cuckoo marans
love the color of her eyes .blue .they ll be bright orange when fully mature

I am reading through posts. I am looking for any information on White Marans. I have two pullets and a cockeral from Harvey. I will be getting a few more next week.
Welcome! Sounds like you’re starting with some good stock. The chief complaint I hear on the East Coast is that it’s really hard to get Whites with dark eggs.
Thank you, I have seen pictures of eggs layed by Harvey's White Marans. They are pretty dark. The White Marans must be pretty rare. I am not finding a lot of information on them so far. Maybe just not as popular.
