I have a fan blowing into the little coop and it seems to help my 3 hens, I checked last night and none had their wings spread out like it was too hot.

yeah, I had a fan in there too, and I'm working on getting a swamp cooler out there, but teh shed they are penned in doesn't have good air flow even with the doors open, so I need to fix the ventilation issue at the top of the shed, I'm actually going to be doing it to all my chicken sheds. I have a 3" hole saw and I will put a bunch of holes in at the peak of the sheds, then use my hardware cloth and stapler to prevent animals from getting in.
Is the humidity low enough where you live for a swamp cooler to work? A swamp cooler would not work here very well. The humidity needs to be below 50% for just a 10°F drop in temperature with a swamp cooler.

Wow, I did not know that. I will have to look at the thermometer I have in there, it keeps track of the Temp and humidity of the last 24 hours. If it doesn't work in the coops with the extra humidity, then I'll let my husband use it in the shop.
And we just passed the 4" mark on the rain gauge.

We ended up with 5" and Poplar Bluff had some pretty deep flooding in low spots and one person tried to drive through 3' of water...
