    barnyard mix hen or rooster?

    im having trouble telling the gender of my two bym bcm also if anyone can help, funny thing is when they were younger i thought the bigger one was the rooster and the smaller one was the hen, but now i think its the other way around because the smaller sounds like it crows now

    New babies

    Just wanted to share some of my recent hatches. Most of these are all silkie mixes but are thankfully growing more like full sized chicks. My favorite is the prairie bluebell egger that is starting to frizzle. Can’t wait to see how they all grow!! The BCM silkie mix has huge feathers on its feet.

    BCM pullet or cockerel?

    Hey all. I have some five week old purebred BCM chicks. I’m 90% sure about 90% of the chicks lol except this one. Comb is slightly darker pink than the other pullets but wattles are pink/red. Size is similar to the other pullets in the group. I’m thinking late blooming cockerel? Any thoughts?
