    Chicken not moving.

    Chick hatched, but now not moving. It took about 15-20 minutes to hatch. I've never seen a chick sta y still this long but I've also never seen one hatch so fast. Is this normal?

    Crowing Normal

    As y'all know I lost my roo and I haven't found a replacement yet. Now I have one hen trying to crow. What is going on? Does this mean I need to get a roo right away? If so I guess i'll have to buy one instead of waiting for the right one to join my flock.

    Do mature muscovy drakes always look this gross?

    This is David my Muscovy drake, he's a year old now. His feathers look disgusting, not smooth and soft like the girls and he stinks of preening oil. Is this the norm? Here's a Pic of him and the pen he lives in with his girls.
