Hi Everyone,
I am curious what colour my 7 month old rooster could throw to his offspring. I was told he is a Cuckoo but I'm not sure if that means blue/black base colour or how it all works when it comes to Cuckoo/Barred in a Pekin. Thank you!
Hello,
I have a hen who is a silkie x pekin and a rooster who is a pure pekin. My hen, daphne, looks like a pekin but with a silkie bowl-cut hairdo. I was curious if anyone has had this combo before and how the chicks ended up looking? I feel like they would look just like a pekin. 🐣
Thanks!
apologies in advance. I’m about to spam you with so many photos but would appreciate any feedback!!

I have a few different heritage breeds which I hatch and sell. I have Buff Laced Polish, Splash Pekin Bantams, Gold Dutch Bantams (work in progress, still trying to find hens) and Black Australorps.
I show a few of my birds at the local ag show and am hoping to do some more shows soon!
Does anyone know what colour this little bantam chick will turn out?
Last pics are mum and dad
Put some eggs in the incubator and have had some beautiful colours but really want to know what colour/what this one might look like when an adult
Thanks :)

Hi everyone,
This is my first time having chicks but we had a v.stubborn broody silkie so I twist DH arm into buying her some day old chicks (chickens for my chicken don’t count right) … I think I may have had worst luck and have all boys . They are 7 weeks old today. I’m hoping to still keep...

Well the chicks are nearly 4 weeks as the title says and they are really filling out especially the Pekins!
Nugget (the more yellow one) is as bold as brass, seemingly fearless.
Kiev (the more reddish one) is more timid and cuddly of the two.
Heihei is the GLW who's feathering so much...
