Chick internally pipped yesterday, now no noise or external pip
It’s day 22, my eggs are a bit delayed because of temperature fluctuations, but this morning (UK 9 am) I had two eggs cheeping, one has externally pipped, but the other one has gone quiet, with no external pip or movement, (5:30 pm). Should I intervene? I really need replies on this ASAP- AmeliaLowe

2.5 day old chicks...are quiet...too quiet?
I picked up my chicks about 24 hours ago and they were very vocal. They've been in the brooder all day, eating, drinking, getting their leg bands removed and under the warmer...but tonight they have been silent. I keep checking on them thinking something is wrong.
