Thank you. The hen is the second one I've lost to a respiratory illness however she was always a "fragile" hen, so I'm not surprised. She made it 4 years. Looks like aspergilla. Rupert is doing fine although is making me nuts as he's feeling his oats this Spring. He's a year old. My co-worker who lives in NJ bought a farm and is going to take him and a few of the hens as soon as they get the barn and chicken coop fixed up. Chef is elated as he can't take the crowing much more. To me, Rupert is just an enthusiastic (loud) muppet.
