Hi all, I have two injured quail in a pen on soil with plants and sand as their bedding. One of the quails (the white one) I found limping on one leg, holding up the other around 2-3 weeks ago, and I suspect that it had gotten spooked by the massive storm we had, and jumped and landed funnily on its leg. It seems to slowly be getting better, as it is slowly starting to put tiny bits of weight on it, and it is eating and drinking as normal. When I was about to clean the mudballs off their feet, i realised the other quail (the greyish one with the white tummy) seems to have some sort of a version of bumblefoot without a scab? Their ground is relatively clean, and there is nothing sharp in their cage either. It seems to be walking pretty well, but on the foot that is more swollen, it steps a bit harder on it if it makes sense? The foot with the bigger swelling also has scales peeling running from the bottom of the foot to about halfway, that are sort of discolored? They are both around 2-3 years old, and in their cage there is one more female, which is fully healthy. They are both eating and drinking fine, and I have put Vetafarm Soluvite D in their water to aid them as well. I'd really appreciate any help!
