I have had 2 male khaki Campbells for about 6 months now (I’ve had them since they where maybe 4-6 weeks old), I just brought home 1 female Rouen (about 4 yrs) and 2 female Rouen Pekins (about 3 yrs). I keep the males and females separated right now since I’ve only had the females a week.

When I let them all out together, both boys want to go after the Rouen, pretty much non-stop. Thinking about trying to find one khaki a good home, not sure yet. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Also I have a lot, and I mean A LOT of wild onions in my yard. I’m wary to let the ducks forage out in the yard because of the amount of onions I have. Has anyone else dealt with wild onions before?

The boys are likely pent up from the lack of girls, but even if they get used to them and calm down, the boys will still most certainly be too much for your girls & could injure / kill them on accident from overmating.

I would definitely rehome 1 of the boys, or get many more girls.

I have some wild onions in my yard, too, but not enough to be a concern. I’m not sure if your ducks would go for them or not.

That’s what I’m afraid of, I did post one on a local FB page.

As far as the onions, they don’t seem to be to interested in them, but everything I read says how toxic they are for ducks.
