Today I nudged a chick to get it to walk away so I could clean up some poop, and I noticed that it refused to move. I had to pick it up, and when I did, there was no vocal protest and only slight wing flapping. I noticed that when I put it down it would limp forward a few steps and lay on its side, leg curled. I picked it up some more and once it extended its wing (on the same side as the curled leg), I don’t know if that’s a sign of something. I put its beak in the water and it would not drink; I have not tried hand-feeding it. Overall it is lethargic and will not get up, even when another chick runs it over.

How is it now? Broilers are known for these types of problems and it's sometimes best to put them down. You can try caring for it separately, but it might not improve. If you want to try and help it, give it some electrolytes or sugar water and set it up so the other chicks don't trample it.

I have more info on https://www.backyardchickens.com/posts/28206061/ with pictures to check if it has a slipped tendon if yon are able to tell?— thank you for replying!
It has started to move but only to sit with the others I think, though it’s still limping. It didn’t accept food and it only took one. Surprisingly, the others don’t seem to peck at it or anything, they let it lay with them.
