4 week old ameraucana - pullet?

Probably too soon to tell, but I was told by the store owner that this is a pullet. Pretty much all black except for the white throat.

Just based on the comb I would say female. My males were very pinkish/red by 4 weeks.

looks like a pullet so far (if you didnt get it from a breeder of true ameraucana its probably an ee instead)

I think that it came from Ideal hatchery, but I'm new to chickens so I don't have a clue..

For what it's worth, I have had good success with Ideal Ameraucana (ahem, "Easter Egger") chicks that were labeled "pullets." All four chicks indeed were pullets.

so you have an Easter Egger that appears to be a pullet.
