^ Chick 1

^ Chick 2 This one is harder to tell for me, but it has a few taller comb tines than the others. this trait I found to mean its a boy in my australorps.

^ Chick 3 Reddening wattles.

^ Chick 4 Reddening at the base of the comb.

^ Chick 5

I have had a horrible year with 90% of my chicks being roosters.

Each of these 5 have displayed reddening around the base of the comb and wattles and red spots appearing on the scales of their legs like roosters sometimes do.

I really hope so. They are not the best pictures. The little buggers kept wiggling lol.

The thing that makes me think all boys is the reddish tint on the legs. All the roosters Ive ever owned had that trait.

Hi, im a newbie but i have a mixed buff rir chick who is four weeks 5 days. Its comb has been pinky peach since 3.5 weeks. But hasn't gotten red or bigger. It has pinky wattles that are quite small still, they're not red like your third chick.

Here's my little one

Your second chick is has a small yellow comb still it appears, should be a pullet. I think all of them could be pullets except the third one and maybe the first as the comb is bigger. The third one does seem to have bigger wattles as well as them being red. Are they more pink in natural light?
