Hi Everyone! What is your favorite cold hardy breed? I live in Northern Canada in Hardiness Zone 2, we get as cold as -45C/-49F. My coop is insulated but not heated. It was built inside my greenhouse so my flock never walks on snow. They get full access to our 20x40 greenhouse in winter because we see as much as 4 feet of snow.

Well, it's zone 4 here and I've only experienced it that cold *once* (and never want to experience that again!!!).

At the time, I had a flock of locally bred BYM chickens, as well as mixed breed ducks and Muscovy, and rabbits. All housing is unheated.

At least your greenhouse is protecting from the elements.
