OK, so I got a dozen mixed bantam, hatching eggs, and got these five out of the mix. The items description was a mix of the following breeds: old English game bantams, mille fleur d’uccle, gold and silver Sebright, Indian red jungle fowl, Easter Egger bantams, Cochins, serama, and silky frizzled rooster.

This is my first hatch, and I think they’re all beautiful, but I was wondering if anybody could identify who got what in the mix. Also, if you have any insight as to rooster or hen, please feel free to comment. 1

Where did the hatching eggs originate? If it was from a backyard breeder, they are probably mixes. No obvious boys yet.
They were on EBay, from West Virginia. The listing was for a dozen eggs from a flock consisting of the different breeds mentioned in my original post. I’d been wanting to try get some bantams and, simultaneously, try hatching eggs. I was just curious if anyone else had seen mixes that looked like these from those breeds. Their feathers are just starting to come in after 2 weeks and they look like they’re going to be really pretty.

I'm not sure what they are but they are so darn cute.

Most look to be D'Uccle mixes. The really dark one may be part Sebright, especially if it has a rose comb. The others may be part Easter egger or Serama. When they are older it may be easier to tell.

I thought there was a lot of d'uccle in there as well. The picture the guy showed on his listing had several d’uccle roosters in it. Is there a guide to show the various comb forms when they’re chick combs? I can see they’re different, but I don’t really know what I’m looking at. Thanks for your guesses.

Here they are, age 12 weeks. They’re a little bit hard to tell apart, but so far I am leaning in the direction that they are all bullets. If you spot one that you think is a roo, let me know.
