Updated photo of my now 5 month old ...doesn't crow or hasn't started so maybe a girl ???

it has a female stance, and if it is 5 months and not crowing then its safe to assume that you have a girl. could you put up a comb pic though? just to be sure

Silkie roosters can wait a LONG time to crow, sometimes over a year. And I have an 8 month old pullet that just started laying! But a comb shot and close up profile picture would be helpful.

That's a female comb, but she isn't near laying yet. It also looks like a single comb from this angle? or is it just the camera angle that's doing that?

Yea that looks like a pullet. and I agree the comb looks like a single comb.
