5 week Amberlink “pullet”

Got this “girl” from the pullet bin at TSC. The absolute sweetest. But I’m worried I may have a cockerel instead of a pullet…

I think it is a cockerel. The comb/wattles are big and red for 5 weeks.

Yeah, and it looks like it has spur spots, I notice that in my rooster chicks.

I don’t, I only got 1 of her breed

Okay, then I wouldn’t jump to the conclusion that it’s a rooster, because some chicks just look like cockerels until they grow up. (I’m not saying it isn’t a rooster, just saying not to give up hope)

I’m really really hoping they aren’t, they are the absolute sweetest and loves to snuggle lol. I’m holding out hope. We do have a cockerel of the same age, but hes already crowing so super easy to tell with him

Spurs aren't an indicator, pullets/hens can have them too.
