I got 17 quails and out of all 8 of them are in horrible conditions
I didn’t notice till I got home due to them being in a box
Some are blind some are scalped feathers torn overgrown beams crooked beaks feet injuries
I’ve applied hen healer and vetericyn to those with open injuries and areas with no feathers
What can I do to help these quails
I’ve taken in many sick/injured birds but I was not prepared for these or these conditions

I would take each of the 8 quail, number them, post a picture and check them over and figure out exactly what is wrong with each one. That way it will be easier to diagnose and treat each bird. Since it also appears they caused some of those injuries to each other, make sure they are not fighting.

Added individual pictures the best I could take of each injury

From these injured ones it’s 2 males 6 females one of the males is fully blind and from the whole group 5 males 12 females
The best ratio is 5 females to 1 male! I think a bunch of your quail are being bullied and over mated (the females will get bald from being over mated)!
If you have space you should separate them into the proper ratio I don’t know if the rest of the males would get along by themselves though!
