8 of 12 eggs never hatched

The first post you have of eggs, definitely those clear ones were either not fertile or didn't start. The others I'm guessing were about Day 14. Something's killing them as usually they'll bail out their first week. Not saying they won't later, but it's rarer.

I'd get a thermometer/hygrometer to check your incubator. I have four incubators and only one is correct. Many of us buy the Govee brand from Amazon. They always have a sale on at least one of their models.

I saw 100% humidity. If it stayed at that level for more than a couple of hours, it would drown them.

They need to be incubated at 99.5F and 40-45% humidity until lockdown. At lockdown, 65-70%. I lock down for five days as silkies sometimes start hatching early. Turning isn't of much importance in their last week anyway, as they are active and won't stick.

I do not like opening the incubator any more than I have to, so I only candle on Day 7 and right before lockdown.

I can’t select 99.5 on my machine. Should I use 99 or 100?

Here are the 12 I was planning to incubate next…they almost all have scattered specks throughout.
The 1st 2 pics of new egs are old eggs, see how they are dark at one end and the air cell is huge at other end. No good.
