I have nine babies that I got mailed from Mt. Healthy Hatchery. They were born on April 25th and so they are 8 weeks and 2 days old today.

They are 2 Golden Laced Wyandottes (1 rose comb, 1 single comb), 2 Rhode Island Reds, 1 Rhode Island Blue, 3 Black Australorps, and one that I think could be a black presenting Rhode Island Blue? Her name is Rory and she was black since the get go and doesn't have the white around the eyes. I was supposed to get two of each + I got a free Australorp.

So to the sexing game. I've named them all and have a couple boy backup names.

These are the ones I think are pullets:
Maisie - Rhode Island Blue or Production Blue
Rory - Rhode Island Blue presenting black or who knows?
Lydia - Black Australorp
Hepburn - Rhode Island Red
Myrna - Rhode Island Red
Buttercup - Golden Laced Wyandotte with single comb

I think this is my definite boy:
Beatrice (Wadsworth if a boy) - Golden Laced Wyandotte with rose comb

These two are totally questionable for me, leaning toward boys:
Wednesday - Black Australorp
Lorelei - Black Australorp - so friendly she/he wants to be held and petted

If more pictures are needed to help me sex them, let me know.

Yep. Patterning also suggests cockerel
These two are totally questionable for me, leaning toward boys:
Wednesday - Black Australorp
Lorelei - Black Australorp
I see what you are seeing, but these are probably going to be pullets
Buttercup - Golden Laced
Pullet
Hepburn - Rhode Island Red
Id keep an eye on this one. Comb development is behind for a cockerel, but the exceptionally dark splotching, especially on the hackles is pretty cockerelish.
