Up for your consideration is 9+ (probably 12) Mottled Java eggs. I say 9 because my hens just got done being broody so I dont want to promise more, but theyve been laying great this week. I don't hold back on eggs - I've been known to "give away the farm" so to speak
In addition to the 9+ fresh eggs I can also include older eggs (7-10 days old) if youd like me to throw those in too to sweeten the pot
. (I have hatched older eggs and have had no problems with them, but its the winners preference).
Mottled Javas are a Heritage Breed, currently on the ALBC Endangered list. They need more breeders to ensure their survival. They are a wonderful dual purpose bird - they can be used for meat or eggs. The hens are good layers, super sweet and can go broody if you let them. The roos are easy going, large stately birds. They are good layers of a medium creamy tan egg. My Mottled Javas are my pets and pure eye candy! My flock originated from several different sources from hatching eggs I bought from BYC breeders and outside sources (breeders not hatcheries). I've culled down to what I feel represented the best. I breed toward the SOP for the Mottled Java - my flock has slate legs, red eyes and a nice body type. If I had to critisize my birds I would say they could be a bit bigger. I'm continually working to better my flock and the breed in general. I've included several pictures of my birds - the mottling on the hens is just great!
The eggs will be fresh and fertile. I ship with bubble wrap burrito style and pad the heck out of the box all over to ensure the little babies will make their journey to you safely! I ship priority mail in the large box (or larger if needed) and I cover shipping costs if it goes over $10.
I'm NPIP & AI certified & tested clean. I only ship domestically (not Hawaii, Canada or overseas, sorry). I can include my NPIP cerificate on the box if you'd like.
I like to ship Monday-Wednesday so the eggs aren't sitting at the post office.
I will do everything in my power to make sure the winning bidder is happy!
Winner to send Paypal to [email protected] as soon as the auction ends. (Please put "Mottled Javas" in the Paypal notes when paying / PM and give me your BYC username so I don't get confused).
If youre interested in eggs at another time, please PM me!
Thanks so much for looking.
