Abigail was such a cute little pullet. All fluffy and alert. Then around 8 weeks old, she began to crow. At first we thought she was an alpha female, imitating a rooster. No such luck. The frequency and pitch of the crowing has forced us to accept that he is a rooster. Unfortunately, my town does not allow roosters. We are currently trying to figure out a solution that does not involve a cooking pot...

X2; you could also check with your local feed store. They may know of someone who would like to have him. They may even have a bulletin board you could advertise him on. You might also try your local 4h. One of the students might like to have him.
