Adopted 2 chickens. Trying to figure out the breed

Hi all,

I recently rescued/adopted two chickens. I’m trying to determine what breed they are and whether or not the larger of the two (I think it’s a golden laced Wyandot) is a hen or rooster. Appreciate any input.

The first one is a rooster. I’m not great at breed identification but he looks like a barnyard mix, possibly with some Black Copper Maran. The second one looks like it could be an Ayam Cemani

This guy has very obvious, pointy saddle feathers. That in addition to a big bright comb and sometimes thicker shanks are good indications you have a rooster. I’ve had hens with bigger combs, or bigger legs, but never with pointy saddle feathers.
