When we bought our chicks, we had bought 3 Polish Chicks, we did not know their sex when we bought them. They are now 4 months old and all 3 polish ones are roosters. They have become very aggressive with the rest of our chickens, when one goes after a hen the other two follow and it's becoming a very stressful situation for my other birds. We love all of our chickens and do not want to get rid of them but we need to figure out a new situation for the Polish boys. For now, we have them separated in the indoor run to sleep at night and then the outdoor run or let them free range during the day. But this means I can't free range the rest of my chickens or let them out to the outdoor run and they have to stay in their indoor run during the day and their coop at night. I'm just worried they will cause more fighting with the other chickens. I'm thinking of building them their own coop and run area to keep the peace. Will they stay aggressive like this forever or do they eventually calm down? Is this a good idea to totally separate them from the rest of the flock?
We also have another rooster that is very sweet that we have had no issues with so far. All of our chickens are the same age. We have 12 altogether.
