Hey everyone this as super sweet you g roo seems to have a sour crop. He's so sweet like a calm puppy and I was pettinghim this morning and noticed his crop was like a huge water balloon and wrapped around him like a cross body bag. No hard lump like it was impacted just really full distended and liquidy. He didn't have any mucus discharge. Had clear eyes. And no apparent discomfort, but did sound a little wet with his clucking no notable smell either.
Any thoughts on a cause?
We're wondering if draining some of the fluid we with a syringe might help in addition to some antibiotics. He'll be dinner some day unless someone is interested in him, but we were hoping he'd mate with some hens first. Him and his brother are so sweet! I'm wishing I could post a video of him visiting me this morning as he does every morning

Crops are normally full after they have eaten food and drunk water. It may be normal. Check his crop at daylight after he has gone all night without food, when it should be mostly empty.

Thanks for your response.
I'll check again tomorrow morning, but I had discovered it this morning before he ate
