Any breed guesses? weird feathers…

Hi all! I think I have two of these chicks, they were plain yellow/buff as day old chicks, clean legs. One has some strange looking feathers. Any guesses on breed? Are they the same as each other? Is this feather pattern normal or something I should keep an eye on? Thanks a billion, I’ve learned so much here!

They look like they’re the same breed, maybe New Hampshire Red. The one does have some funky feathers, but I’m thinking they’re just a little slow to grow in. If the chick is acting normal otherwise then I wouldn’t worry

Where did you get them from? If it was from TSC it might help identify them, they usually get the same breeds.

They were from the bin at Meyer Hatchery. I was able to guess a couple of them based on their chick identification page, but still not sure about a lot of them. Haha

Ok good. I was hoping it was just a slow fluffing. I thought it was possible it’s a frizzle, but I dont mind either way. I just want them to be ok! Thank you.
