Any idea what this noise that my pullets are making is about?

Here’s the video. They used to be really quiet but since one of them started laying last weekend they’ve been making a lot of noise. I know there’s a sound they make after they lay but this is coming from more of them that aren’t laying and not just after the one lays. I just wanna make sure they’re not in distress or something. Nothing else has changed either.

These noises got me at first, too. Our Langshans barely made a peep their whole lives until they started laying and making this noise, and I was like, whaaat is that

Not only that, it sets our alpha cockerel to clucking, which he also does when he sees a predator, so every day this ruckus sends me running out to check on everyone.

Now sometimes I think they do it so I'll come hang out.
