That Dr Pepper drinkers seem more serious about protecting their stash. And that Dr Pepper drinkers seem to drink alot of them, to the point of addiction. And before you even start I know they are BAD for me. I don't see this with other soft drink products. Am I wrong?

Coke drinkers are worse. Or gosh forbid you try to gank a Vernor's from the stash of a Dis-placed Midwesterner.

Nope.
I get very upset if someone even touches my DPs/DTs (Dr. Thunder is walmarts version)

I see it more with Mt Dew drinkers. The Cola drinkers I know are willing to share as long as there is enough, and the DP drinkers I know could care less.

I think I remember seeing a Tv program about Mountain Dew addiction, now that you mention it.

I was a Mountain Dewer back in early college....always carried around a twelve-pack in the trunk of the car. I was more protective of those sweet, delectable, shiny cans of ambrosia than I was of just about anything else.
I got over the addiction. Of course, coffee now rules my life....but I find I am way more open to sharing coffee than I ever was sharing Mountain Dew.
