No one is acting off, found in a water dish that's been outside. It moves around like an inch worm, grabbing with head, moving forward whole body.
All my ducks and chickens free range (in fact one of the roosters caught and they all presumably ate a wild sparrow yesterday yuck).

Just looking for an ID, and I'm going to start searching their poops i guess while researching de-worming and whether or not I want to go full depthcon five i.e. no more free range.

I'm this dish sure it has been pooped in/on at some point by something, and its not like I sterilize it everyday so .........just wanting to figure out best course of action here.

Thanks.

From the way you describe it's movement and from what I can tell from the picture, it looks like little worms of some kind that I just have in the yard. When I go through tall weeds or brush I occasionally find them on me.

Are you sure it came out of a chicken or could it have just crawled in there?

It could have just crawled in there, that is also a possibility.
