Anyone shipped eggs via UPS? Did they hatch?

Title says it all. I am frustrated with the Post Office and wondered if there were any other vialble options even if they are more expensive.

I don't think you are aloud to ship eggs using UPS (although I doubt they would know). The eggs probably wouldn't do much better though.
 
I caled UPS and the lady said she did not see any restriction for eggs. The main thing I like is they said they will honor their time commitments which the Post office does not do for Priority mail.
 
It is my understanding that USPS is the only source for shipping live animals. I have heard no restrictions for eggs. We have received hundreds of eggs through the USPS that arrived fine. It is in the packing that makes the difference. My biggest problem with the post office is their timing and local employees who don't read the labels.
