I've been using critter care with my other animals (gerbils and feeder mice) and was curious if its safe for baby chicks. Normally i use large pine shavings and cover them with a thin layer of straw the first few days while the chicks learn what to eat..
The lable says critter care is made out of cellulose. It also lists the typical warning about impaction risks if over ingested... I dont want to be the "guinea pig".. But i'd like to know what has been successfully or desasterously tried.
