Crossing the Road
We have a lot of pinto beans right now. I'm wondering if I can move some to the "chicken food" section of our pantry. Can they be sprouted for chickens to eat?

Sounds an awful lot like work.Uncooked beans are toxic to chickens. You can sprout them if you can somehow remove the bean
Unless they're split, yes. (Split peas won't sprout)But dried peas are okay, yes?
I've been meaning to tell you how much I like your avvy! Chanticleer, is it?Unless they're split, yes. (Split peas won't sprout)
