I know that cinnamon and ginger are super healthy for dogs, but are there any herbs/spices that are super healthy for chickens?

Oh yes!! Herbs are very healthy for chickens! There are many herbs which are good for many things in chickens health. Using herbs with your flock is an inexpensive way to insure optimal chicken health and output. Not only do herbs keep chickens in peak condition, they also insure nutritious eggs with orange egg yolks, clear egg whites and strong, smooth eggshells. If you raise your chickens for meat, pets, show, etc, herbs will benefit and nourish chicken meat, keep your pet chickens in peak health for many years and even add a shining radiance to your show chickens!

Here are the herbs best used in chicken health
Basil, thyme, comfrey, parsley, bay leaves, lavender, calendula, spearmint, lemongrass, catnip, sage, oregano, yarrow, chickweed, marjoram, cilantro, peppermint, clover, dandelions, dill, bee balm, echinacea, fennel, mint, feverfew, garlic, ginger, lemon balm, marigold, nasturtium, nettles, pineapple sage, rosemary, wormwood and cinnamon.

Herbs to stay away from include:
azalea, philodendron, rhododendron, sweet pea, black nightshade, foxglove, oleander, castor bean, vetch, henbane, irises, lantana, St. john's wort, trumpets vine, morning glory, datura, clematis and honeysuckle.
